Service Coverage Matrix
Give a book-wide view of which services each relationship uses, so white space and
over-concentration are obvious at a glance.
When to use
- Portfolio / book reviews across all relationships.
- Setting cross-sell priorities at the team level.
- Spotting concentration risk in the revenue base.
Inputs
- The set of relationships (with [[family-office-profile]] where available).
- The service catalogue.
- Which services are active per relationship.
Steps
- Build a grid: rows = relationships, columns = services, cells = active / eligible / n/a.
- Mark eligible-but-unused cells as white space (the cross-sell opportunity surface).
- Summarise coverage per service and per relationship.
- Highlight concentration — services or clients that dominate the revenue base.
- Rank the highest-value white-space cells for follow-up via [[cross-sell-recommender]].
Output
A coverage matrix, per-service and per-client coverage summaries, and a ranked white-space list.
Presenting results
- Present every result as one or more clear Markdown tables — one per section, each with a short heading.
- Keep prose minimal; put the substance in the tables.
- Offer the user a downloadable PDF (formatted) and CSV (the underlying rows), and generate them when asked.
- Never invent figures. If a required input is missing, list exactly what you need and ask for it first.
