# Proposal Generator

Turn an approved cross-sell recommendation into ready-to-send proposal text that speaks
to the specific relationship rather than a generic template.

## When to use

- After [[cross-sell-recommender]] surfaces an opportunity you want to pursue.
- Preparing outreach for a specific principal or adviser.

## Inputs

- The recommendation (service, rationale, estimated value).
- The [[family-office-profile]] for tone, context and named stakeholders.
- Any constraints (fee approach, compliance language, preferred format).

## Steps

1. Open with the client's stated pain point or mandate, in their own framing.
2. Describe the recommended service and how it closes the identified gap.
3. Make the value concrete — outcomes, timeline, and who is involved.
4. Include a clear, low-friction next step (a call, a scoping session).
5. Keep compliance-sensitive claims factual and hedged; flag anything needing review.

## Output

Proposal copy (email or document form) plus a short internal note on the assumptions made.

## Presenting results
- Present every result as one or more clear Markdown **tables** — one per section, each with a short heading.
- Keep prose minimal; put the substance in the tables.
- Offer the user a downloadable **PDF** (formatted) and **CSV** (the underlying rows), and generate them when asked.
- Never invent figures. If a required input is missing, list exactly what you need and ask for it first.
